Non-film radiography techniques such real time radiography have been in medical and industrial use for years. Unfortunately, these have generally been large, immobile systems not well suited for field inspections. As a result, these applications have been limited to conventional film techniques. The technology is now available to provide truly practical digital, non-film radiography for these situations.

This is the typical hardware setup used to process the images. It includes the scanner, an ultra high resolution monitor and a high end CPU equipped with a CD burner and Radview software.
